Paramount Pictures has announced the arrival of The Last Airbender on Blu-ray disc and DVD for November 16, 2010. Earning more than $280 million at the worldwide box-office to become one of the Top 10 Family Films of the year across the globe, The Last Airbender will come to home video in 3 different forms: A Blu-ray/DVD combo pack edition, a single-disc DVD edition, and a single-disc Blu-ray edition.

The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack includes over 2 hours of in-depth, behind-the-scenes special features, including a 9-part documentary on the making of the film. Also included is a featurette entitled Origins of the Avatar, which documents the creative transformation of the hit animated series to the big screen, picture-in-picture insights from the cast and crew that deconstruct some of the amazing action and visual effects sequences, deleted scenes, outtakes and more. The single-disc editions of the film will only contain the Origins of the Avatar featurette, and the deleted scenes and outtakes.

The day has finally arrived! Tomorrow, July 1st is the OFFICIAL OPENING DAY for The Last Airbender!

Be sure to support it by inviting your friends and family to come watch it with you. Watch it over and over again if you wish. Just make sure you give ALL YOUR SUPPORT to ensure that the movie will turn out to be a success. Together, hand in hand, we fans should make sure TLA earns what it deserves and if all goes well, we may even expect a sequel soon.
